  The doctors missed the signs of our son's low muscle tone. He missed milestones and they didn't say a word until he was 1 years old and couldn't pull himself up to stand. He was evaluated for early childhood development, and of course he qualified. The state found a PT (who didn't take our insurance and cost $90/ 45 mins). My son screamed during the entire sessions and they were so ineffective. He made no progress. After an exhaustive search, our lives forever changed when I found the Therapy Gym and Dr. Elisheva Fuchs (Ellie). Ellie calmed our fears and explained that everything was ok. Our son was nervous around strangers. Ellie knew how to engage with him and calm him down. She's amazing with children. She's able to motivate and challenge our son to excel in a fun way. He's incredibly responsive to her. When we met Ellie, our son couldn't pull himself up to stand. With hard work both in PT and at home after 4.5 months he was walking independently. She truly cares about his progress. Also, since I was a new mom, I asked her for general guidance and she provided amazing advice and comfort. Ellie is a true professional with a heart of gold. Our son is a perfect 2.5 boy today. He's learning to run and jump. We still continue to go to Ellie for therapy. We're excited for the future, we'll start sports therapy soon. My son loves her. Our family is so grateful for Ellie. Robin, the office manager, is super helpful, kind and patient when it comes to navigating insurance and payments.
